Thanks to a super fun, whirlwind weekend in Hong Kong, I had a very successful shopping expedition which provided many favorites for the month of November. My favorite purchases were these black Tory Burch flats, which by the way are very pretty, but not the most comfortable shoes in the world, and the Michael Kors watch I've been obsessing about for the past couple of months.
My favorite experiences were getting to see my brother and his fiance and spending the day with them on the Diamond Princess in Hong Kong, and also my friend's birthday extravaganza which she held in a hotel room that has four jacuzzis, a swimming pool, a sauna, three big screen TV's and karaoke.
Being a self-professed lip balm fanatic, I had to try these EOS lip balms I've been reading about a lot lately. I got the flavors Honeysuckle Honeydew and Summer Fruit. Love them both! They smell amazing, and I like the unusual sphere shape.
I was absolutely ecstatic to find a Yankee Candle store here in Taipei and got one in the scent Lavender Vanilla and have been burning it every day. Apparently they have a bunch of Christmas scented candles out, so I will have to go get a whiff of those at the store.
I'm a sucker for scarves, and although my collection is getting a little out of control, I adore this gray leopard print one I got a few weeks ago. It's pretty light, and perfect for the weather in Taiwan right now.
Last, but not least, is one of my new favorite blogs I discovered in November. Sam, a fellow South African, blogs about fashion and other girly things on Frills & Thrills.
Have a wonderful December, everyone!
Great November favs! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you're in Hong Kong. How neat!
I was only there for a weekend, and I can't wait to go there again! It's only 1.5 hour's flight from Taiwan where I live, so very convenient. :-)
ReplyDeleteOhh! I LOVE EOS lipbalm!!
ReplyDeleteAlso Lavender Vanilla from Yankee Candle. As far as the Christmas scents...I recommend White Christmas. It is very yummy!! :) I am so addicted to Yankee Candle.

ReplyDelete@J.Ashley Even though I live so close to Hong Kong, I've only been there twice (not counting airport visits..) But after this last visit I've just made up my mind that I should go there more often! :-)

ReplyDeleteThanks So Much Liesl! I am so honoured to be featured on your lovely blog. I've seen those flats online before & really liked them, but as you say they are not so comfy. Looks can be deceiving.
ReplyDelete@Sam You're welcome! I think the flats might just still be a little uncomfortable because they're new. (Well, I hope so...)
