I don't know about you, but I adore Disney movies! I can't wait to buy all the movies for my kids one day. I have a soft spot for Eeyore, the gloomy donkey from "Winnie the Pooh". He just knows how to always keep it real. But I will have to go with Ariel as my favorite Disney character, the redhead mermaid from "The Little Mermaid".
"The Little Mermaid" is my all time favorite Disney flick. When I was a little girl, my friends and I used to pretend we were Ariel and her sisters living in the ocean. When really we were a bunch of elementary school kids, splashing around in our school's over chlorinated pool. Anyway...
A few weeks ago, I was watching "The Little Mermaid" with some of my students. Nowadays with all the special effects and 3D movies, I didn't know if they would still be able to enjoy this old classic. I couldn't help but smile when I saw how much they loved the movie. They even asked me if we could watch the part with the song, "Under the Sea" again. Well, hell yes! (Don't worry, I didn't say that.)
Belle was always my favorite Disney Character/Princess. When I was a kid, I would be watching the movie and then run outside in the grass and pick dandelions.

Like she did. (Skip to the end about 5:09)
Ha! I totally did that when I was little lol
DeleteOut of all the movies . Little Mermaid was my favourite. I can even remember ALL of the songs and I am turning 30 this year! haha
ReplyDelete@Kimmy Love Belle, too! :-) Just checked out the YouTube clip, it brings back so many good memories.
ReplyDelete@Sophie I may or may not have listened to "Under the Sea" a few times this past month when I was by myself... ;-)
Ariel was always my favorite. I used to sing the songs constantly...even in public when I was little. I always had a mad crush on Prince Eric.
ReplyDeleteAriel is one of favorite Disney princesses too. But Belle is in the top list. :) Anyway, I'm giving you this Cute Blog Award. You deserve it as much as I do Liesl.

ReplyDeleteI think Gus-Gus from Cinderella is my favorite. He just makes me giggle. The Little Mermaid is pretty awesome, too! Ariel had a great collection of "things".
ReplyDeleteI always liked Belle because she was witty and intelligent, but wasn't condescending or snobby.
ReplyDeleteI love Disney movies! The Little Mermaid is up there on my list! Belle was always my favorite Disney princess.
ReplyDeleteAriel and Belle!
ReplyDeleteThe Disney Cinderella costume is beautiful, and that along with the story of her humble beginnings has made this a popular costume for literally decades, and it will continue to be one of the best.princess carriage toddler bed
ReplyDeleteOf course, even with this great feature, safety should still be a priority. Just ensure that the bed frames are sturdy and the slides have a deep bed that wouldn't cause your kids to fall over the sides. bunk bed with slide
