Mount Fuji, Japan |
In the first week of April this year, The Boyfriend and I traveled to Japan for our 3-year anniversary. I've been living in Asia for four years and Japan has always been on my "to see list". So I finally got to check it off my list, and what a great trip it was!
Japan is only a 3-hour flight from Taipei, so it wasn't a tiring flight and we didn't have jet lag. We spent three days in Tokyo, going all over the city to see and experience as much as possible, and we made a day trip to Mount Fuji.
I really love Japan and can't wait to go back there some day. I'm pretty sure we didn't even see half of what this amazing country has to offer. You can check out my post, Aishiteru, Japan!, for more detailed recount of our trip, and some more Snapshots of Japan.
Have you ever been to Japan? What is the last place you traveled to?
Wow, that's beautiful! What a great way to celebrate an anniversary. I've never been to Japan, but I'd love to some day.
ReplyDeleteThe last place I traveled was Berlin, Germany, which was pretty awesome.
I'd love to go to Germany, because that's where my ancestors are from. What was the most enjoyable part of your trip?
ReplyDeleteI didn't visit anywhere special on my last vacation (just the Bay Area of California), but you may enjoy the only remaining photo of that vacation -

DeleteWow! Japan is on my must visit one day list! It looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLast place I visited of the UK was Lisbon, Portugal such a beautiful historic city :)
Definitely go to Japan if you ever get the opportunity, it's really amazing!
DeleteI would love to go to Portugal as well!
That's awesome! It's on my bucket list to travel the world. The last place I went to was Armenia to see my mom's family for Christmas. Then in November we're going to Florida! But I want to go to Berlin the most and I also want to go to Poland to take a tour of Auschwitz, because I like learning about Nazi Germany.
ReplyDeleteI love this post.
