Day 63 – A picture of a photo in your room

Although our apartment is filled with photos, these are the only two that I have in my room. Let's face it, they are basically the same photo, so I couldn't choose just one of them.

The one on the left was taken in December 2009 when I went to visit The Boyfriend in North Carolina. I remember that it was freakin' freezing that day, and it didn't help that we were high up on a mountain, standing outside our friends' house in the snow. The view from there was just beautiful, with mountains as far as you can see, covered in snow.

That time in North Carolina was the first time I had ever been in snow in my life. It was magical! It was also the first time I met The Boyfriend's family, whom I adore.

The photo on the right was taken in October 2009 when The Boyfriend came to visit me in South Africa for the first time. He had just finished his travels to Australia and New Zealand, and decided to pop over to my hometown. My mom took this picture, and I know she loves it as well. (She might still have a copy on her refrigerator at the moment...)

So there you go; the two photos I have in my room. Do you have photos in your room?
